A simple trick for making difficult decisions

Today I want to focus on a topic that has been on my mind lately. It’s one that many people struggle with and unfortunately, it can really hold us back in life…

I’m talking about making difficult decisions. We need to make difficult decisions all the time. They may be to have a difficult conversation, stop a habit, or even start a big project. Oftentimes, these decisions make us feel uncomfortable, and this prevents us from making that decision and moving forward.

I have a simple trick that can help you face these situations and make decisions easier – and that is to first focus on your strengths.

In any situation, first consider what it would be like to show up as your best self? How would they act? What would they do? What strengths do you have already that could help you face this challenge in the best possible way?

Knowing and applying your strengths empowers you in inexplicable ways because your decisions are no longer guided by fear. They are no longer based on the opinion of others. Instead, your decisions are directed by the knowledge and confidence you have within you. You have what it takes to succeed!

So, I encourage you to think about your strengths as you run into any difficult decisions or challenges this week. Take a moment to look at the issue you are facing and consider the many strengths you can bring to the situation. Applying these strengths will not only help you develop more confidence but will ultimately help you to achieve your biggest goals!

What is one strength that you have that will help you in a tough moment this week?
